OPINIÓN: UNA “corta” HISTORIA del “Partido Socialista Popular” (Comunista) de Cuba.

Los comunistas en Cuba eran unos viejos camajanes, políticos, y parte integrante de la sociedad cubana. Disfrutaban del bienestar económico de la Isla. Poseían la emisora Mil Diez y el periódico Hoy.

Como, al parecer, no tenían el menor chance de implantar un régimen rojo en Cuba, los mirábamos de igual a igual y a veces hasta con lástima. Carlos Rafael Rodríguez, los Ordoqui, Ursinio Rojas, Severo Aguirre, Ramón Calcines, Salvador García Agüero, los Escalante, Isidoro Malmierca, Juan Marinello, Lázaro Peña, Blas Roca, eran perfectamente bien aceptados en el país y eran considerados unos politiqueros mas. La población no los creía peligrosos y desconocía -como ya les he dicho con anterioridad- el ala secreta, siniestra y violenta dirigida por Fabio Grobart, Victor Piña, Osvaldo Sánchez entre otros perversos personajes.

De pronto los comunistas se enteran que hay un “muchachón loco” encaramado en la Sierra Maestra y llegan a la errónea conclusión de que, a través de él, podían lograr implantar en la nación cubana el sistema que tanto añoraban. Y ser ellos sus jefes… Tremendo fallo de su parte.

“¿Qué tú crees de este tipo?” se preguntaban unos a otros. Alguien dijo: “Este es el tipo que atacó al Moncada mientras nosotros celebrabamos el cumpleaños del compañero Blas Roca”… Algunos ya lo conocían de atrás, como Alfredo Guevara, de la época del bonche universitario. Y todos estuvieron de acuerdo en que “se trata de una persona inexperta, ambiciosa, capaz de cualquier cosa, joven, idealista, carismático, y que pudiera ser como un muñeco de plastilina en nuestras manos”…

Se preguntaban: “¿Quién entre nosotros tiene el poder de convencimiento, la labia, para hablar con él?” Y al fin, se pusieron de acuerdo en que Carlos Rafael Rodríguez era el emisario ideal para tal empresa…

Jamás pensaron que la tarea iba a ser tan “fácil”. Cuando Carlos Rafael bajó de la montaña hasta brindaron con champán. Había cumplido con su cometido; Cuba sería comunista, ellos serían gobernantes, y Fidel era un “muchachito recién nacido al cual ellos le cambiarían el pañal y le darían leche en pomo”.

El pueblo de Cuba consideraba que los comunistas eran dueños del país, pero en la intimidad el dictador los rebajaba, los utilizaba, los despreciaba y los maltrataba…

LAS RENUNCIAS DE LOS EDITORES DE REVISTA RELIGIOSA EN CUBA “GENERA POLÉMICAS”.

“Espacio Laical” es un proyecto del Centro Cultural Padre Félix Varela, de la Arquidiócesis de La Habana, y se presenta como una “respuesta a la exigencia evangelizadora de toda la Iglesia, mediante una metodología de encuentro, escucha y comprensión”.

La revista ha estado involucrada en varias polémicas, muchas de ellas por artículos y posiciones contra la oposición interna.

Curiosamente, su mayor enfrentamiento con el régimen —la propuesta de elecciones directas, libres y competitivas, de mayo de 2013— pasó inmediatamente a un segundo plano.

En su más reciente visita a España, Roberto Veiga y Lenier González pidieron que los países no se erijan en “jueces” sobre la situación de los derechos humanos en Cuba.

Roberto Veiga y Lenier González, exeditores de “Espacio Laical”, confirmaron este miércoles que renunciaron a sus puestos en la revista de la Arquidiócesis de La Habana y no fueron destituidos, como inicialmente se interpretó de un correo electrónico que enviaron a colaboradores de la publicación y que se filtró a la prensa.

“El motivo principal que nos llevó a solicitar nuestra dimisión como editores ha estado relacionado con la polémica que genera, en determinados sectores de la comunidad eclesial, el perfil socio-político de la publicación”, dijeron Veiga y González en una nota publicada por la agencia IPS.

“No fueron ‘liberados de sus cargos’, en el sentido en que la expresión se emplea en Cuba, sino que renunciaron a ellos, en el sentido en que esa expresión se emplea en todas partes”, dijo Andújar en una declaración escrita.

Señaló (Andújar) que Veiga y González recurrieron “al eufemismo habitualmente utilizado en los medios oficiales cubanos para referirse a la destitución de algún funcionario”.

Los exeditores reconocieron que “la frase se prestaba a equívocos” y dio lugar “a un incidente muy desagradable”. Aseguraron que habían acordado con la dirección de la revista darle un “bajo perfil” a la renuncia “y, en un inicio, no hablar con la prensa”.

“El término ‘liberados de nuestras obligaciones’ se refería, en efecto, a la aprobación de nuestra renuncia por parte del cardenal”, explicaron dijeron Veiga y Gonzalez.

En cuanto a la “polémica” dentro de la Iglesia Católica por la revista, Veiga y González afirmaron que “ha sido causa de tensiones que se han proyectado sobre la figura del cardenal-arzobispo” y sobre ellos.

CAUSAS DE SUS RENUNCIAS.

“Creímos oportuno –y así lo seguimos pensando– que no era moralmente adecuado seguir conduciendo una publicación que provocaba divisiones dentro de la propia comunidad eclesial, donde se encuentran las posiciones de quienes piensan que la Iglesia no debe inmiscuirse ‘en política’ y los que creen que no debe abrir sus espacios a todos los actores de la sociedad civil cubana”, argumentaron.

“Llegamos a comprender la imposibilidad de mantener el cauce editorial de la revista Espacio Laical tal y como ha sido hasta nuestros días”, añadieron.

“Hacemos pública nuestra gratitud al cardenal Jaime Ortega por apoyar nuestra gestión, hasta donde le fue posible”, dijeron Veiga y González.

Por otra parte, calificaron de “agresivo y desproporcionado” el tono de la declaración de Gustavo Andújar.

Andújar dijo en su nota que “nadie es imprescindible”, por lo que Espacio Laical “seguirá adelante, con un nuevo equipo de realización”.

“Tendrá defensores y detractores, igual que ahora, aunque no necesariamente críticas y alabanzas tengan igual contenido o provengan de los mismos grupos que ahora”, agregó Andújar..

El relevo de los editores se produce justo antes de la jubilación del cardenal Jaime Ortega. NUEVOS DEPORTISTAS CUBANOS ABANDONAN SUS EQUIPOS.

Cuatro deportistas cubanos han aprovechado su estancia en otros países en los últimos días para no volver a la isla y poner rumbo hacia Estados Unidos, como también hicieron el pasado fin de semana nueve bailarines del Ballet Nacional de Cuba.

Según agencias de noticias mundiales, dos integrantes del equipo de hockey desertaron durante un viaje a México y han viajado ya a Estados Unidos. Se trata de Dania Iris Armenteros Cervantes, quien llegó a ser capitana del equipo de hockey sobre hierba de Cuba, y Osdelaisy Carmenate Pelles, otra integrante del equipo.

La selección cubana había viajado a México DF para participar en un torneo internacional entre el 3 y el 8 de junio. Según la emisora, Dania llegó el miércoles al aeropuerto de Miami, mientras que Osdelaisy se encuentra actualmente en Texas pero prevé viajar a Miami la próxima semana.

Por otra parte, el portal ‘Caféfuerte’ ha informado de que dos tenistas de la selección nacional que habían viajado a Puerto Rico para un torneo eliminatorio para la Copa Davis 2015 también han aprovechado este viaje para desertar.

Fuentes cercanas a los deportistas han indicado a este medio que se trata de Randy Blanco, de 21 años, y Ernesto Alfonso, de 24. Ambos llegaron este martes por la noche a Miami, mientras que el equipo nacional regresó el lunes a La Habana.

Una fuente vinculada a la Federación Cubana de Tenis ha confirmado a ‘Caféfuerte’ que los dos tenistas no estaban entre los integrantes del equipo que regresaron a la isla.

Estas cuatro deserciones se suman a las de nueve bailarines del Ballet Nacional de Cuba, que dirige Alicia Alonso, que aprovecharon un viaje a Puerto Rico para viajar desde allí a Miami, donde está previsto varios de ellos actuarán este mismo fin de semana.
