“MI BELLA ISLA” UNA NUEVA CANCION DE ALEXIS VALDES CON COOPERACIÓN DE HAYDE Y PABLO MILANES. VIDEOS

EL MÚSICO Y ACTOR CUBANO Alexis Valdés estrenó este jueves la canción ‘Mi Isla bella’, un homenaje a Cuba que cuenta con la colaboración de Pablo y Haydée Milanés.

“Esta colaboración para “Mi Isla Bella” con Pablo y Haydée Milanés fue un milagro, algo mágico. Cuando la estaba cantando en mi cabeza sentí que debía escribir unos nuevos versos, y me imaginé que Pablo debería estar ahí, que la voz, estilo y grandeza de Pablo Milanés, sería el colofón ideal para la canción”, expresó el cantante y humorista en su canal de Youtube, donde ya puede escucharse el tema.

Explicó que originalmente, la canción estaba planeada con la colaboración exclusiva de Haydée, pero al enviarle los nuevos versos a Pablo, le gustaron mucho. La canción contiene la última frase que padre e hija cantaron juntos: “Te extraño, Cuba”, según ha relatado Haydée.

“Cuando me enviaron su parte grabada, me quedé impactado… fue uno de los últimos trabajos que pudo realizar”, relató Valdés sobre Pablo, quien falleció el pasado 22 de noviembre.

“Soy de una tierra de mar dormida en el horizonte. Soy de un pedazo de azul donde cantan los sinsontes. Soy de sol, caña y café soy de guarapo y de estrellas. Yo soy de allí, Yo soy de allí, De mi Isla Bella”, dice la canción.

La nostálgica melodía es acompañada por la voz de Haydé y Pablo Milanés en la estrofa “Mi fotos viejas / mi mar de espuma / Mi isla bella / mi isla bella / Tu nombre es …Cuba”.

Pero Pablo se apropia de la letra cuando canta:

Haydée Milanés recomendó esta mañana el tema a sus seguidores de Instagram y les aseguró que la canción les “va a llegar a lo más profundo del corazón”.

“Alexis nos invitó a mi padre @pablo_milanes_oficial y a mí a colaborar con él en esta canción, y lo que nosotros no imaginábamos es que esta sería la última vez que uniríamos nuestras voces para cantar. Entre otras razones, por eso me cala tan hondo. Pero es que la canción habla de sentimientos que nos tocan a cada cubano; el amor a nuestra isla, sus colores, el recuerdo de nuestras vivencias, nuestras costumbres, nuestros juegos infantiles. Pero también esta canción habla del sentimiento y el hecho más desgarrador de todos, el de no poder regresar a tu tierra”, afirmó la artista.

Contó que “el día que ví junto a mi padre el video de @karollwilliam sería el día en que nos despidiéramos para siempre. Se me hace un nudo en la garganta cuando entra su voz, esa voz que parece un corazón que te canta. Me quedo pensando al escuchar “Te extraño, Cuba”, última frase que curiosamente entonamos; qué sentimiento tan hondo, tan personal y a la vez tan esparcido por el mundo… No pensaba yo cuando grabamos esta canción, que su texto cobraría tanto sentido para mí”, expresó Haydée.

Decenas de cubanos que escucharon la canción en los primeros minutos tras el estreno afirmaron que el tema los ha conmovido no solo por la entrañable imagen de Cuba que presenta, sino por el reencuentro con Pablo.

“Estimado Alexis, me ha conmovido profundamente ésta obra de arte, bella la música y la letra y sobre todo por la bella y profunda voz de nuestro Pablo Milanés quizás por última vez, como cubana te agradezco profundamente este tributo a nuestra sufrida Cuba, muchas gracias”, comentó una seguidora de Valdés.

“Acabo de escuchar la canción Mi Isla Bella, escrita por Alexis Valdés e interpretada por él, Haydée Milanés y el incomparable y único Pablo Milanés. Hay canciones que desde la primera vez que se escuchan nos hacen un nudo en la garganta, y la tienes que escuchar una y otra vez porque son mágicas y evocan un lugar único, un lugar que amo y al que pertenezco pero que no veo desde hace 43 años y no se si volveré a verla, Cuba, mi isla bella. El sentimiento con el que la han cantado Alexis, Haydée y Pablo se mete por los huesos porque como dice su letra Yo soy de allí. “Es probablemente la canción más hermosa que he escrito y, con estas colaboraciones de lujo, sin duda, de lo más especial que he hecho en la música en toda mi vida”, aseguró el polifacético artista, que agradeció a Pablo y a Haydée, y a sus managers y compañeros de vida, por su colaboración y generosidad.

Fallecido en noviembre de 2022 a los 79 años, Pablo Milanés estrenará de manera póstuma el álbum “Amor y salsa, 80 aniversario”, en el que vuelva a juntar su voz a la de grandes artistas que rindieron tributo a su obra musical con arreglos salseros de algunos de sus temas clásicos y otros inéditos.

“This collaboration for “Mi Isla Bella” with Pablo and Haydée Milanés was a miracle, something magical. When I was singing it in my head I felt that I had to write some new verses, and I imagined that Pablo should be there, that the voice, style, and greatness of Pablo Milanés, would be the ideal climax for the song,” said the singer and comedian on his YouTube channel, where the song can already be heard.

He explained that originally, the song was planned with the exclusive collaboration of Haydée, but when he sent Pablo the new verses, she liked them a lot. The song contains the last phrase that father and daughter sang together: “I miss you, Cuba”, according to Haydée.

“When they sent me his recorded part, I was shocked… it was one of the last jobs he was able to do,” Valdés recounted about Pablo, who passed away on November 22.
