William Gutiérrez Levy was born in Cojimar, La Habana on August 29, 1980 he is a disguished Cuban-American actor and former model.

Levy is of Spanish descent, his great-grandfather being from the Canary Islands. His maternal grandfather was Jewish (the origin of his surname, Levy, although he grew up in a non-religious household. He was raised by his single mother, Barbara Levy.

His family, including his brother Jonathan Gutierrez Levy and sister Barbara Gutierrez Levy, emigrated to Miami, Florida when he was 14. He attended Barbara Goleman Senior high school, located in the suburb of Miami Lakes. After attending high school, he studied business administration on a baseball scholarship at St. Thomas University for two years. He later went to Los Angeles to study acting, and continued his acting studies in Miami and Mexico City.

ARTISTIC CAREER

Levy worked as a model for the Next Models agency, and was featured in two reality shows broadcast by Telemundo: Isla de la Tentación and Protagonistas de Novela 2. In 2005, he performed at the Centro de Bellas Artes in San Juan, Puerto Rico, starring in the play La Nena Tiene Tumbao.

His debut on the Spanish-language channel Univision was in the Venevision International production of Olvidarte Jamás. He later appeared in Mi Vida Eres Tu and Acorralada. Levy starred alongside Jacqueline Bracamontes on Sortilegio in 2009. Sortilegio aired on Univision, and the finale drew 6.6 million viewers, beating ABC and CBS for viewers in that time slot. In November 2009, the actor lent his voice to the Spanish version of the animated movie Planet 51. The movie opened on November 27 in Mexico, and won an award for best animated Spanish-language film of 2009 at the Premios Goya. From November 2009 to February 2010, Levy toured several Mexican cities with the play Un Amante a la Medida, which toured in the United States in June 2010.

Levy starred in the Mexican telenovela Triunfo del Amor, a remake of the Venezuelan classic Cristal, again with Maite Perroni. The telenovela aired on El Canal de las Estrellas on October 25, 2010. Pedro Torres, executive producer of Mujeres Asesinas, confirmed Levy’s role in the third season of the popular Mexican series. Levy starred as Jennifer Lopez’s love interest in the music video “I’m Into You”, from her album Love?. It aired on NBC’s Today on May 2, 2011. Levy appeared on the cover of People en Español for its special issue on the sexiest men of the year for 2011.

In January 2012, it was announced that Levy would appear in two episodes of the VH1 television series Single Ladies, with Denise Vasi. He was a participant in the fourteenth season of Dancing with the Stars, with two-time mirror ball champion Cheryl Burke as his dance-pro partner; they finished in third place. Daisy Fuentes es una modelo cubanoamericana nacida el 17 de noviembre de 1966, presentadora de televisión, actriz y expresentadora del tiempo. Fuentes se convirtió en la primera VJ latina de MTV (contratada simultáneamente con MTV y MTV Latinoamérica) y la primera portavoz latina de Revlon en firmar un contrato internacional.

Daisy Fuentes nació en La Habana, Cuba, de padre cubano y madre española. En 1969, cuando Fuentes tenía tres años, su familia huyó del país para escapar del régimen de Fidel Castro y se mudó a Madrid, España.

Cuatro años después, se mudó con su familia a Harrison, Nueva Jersey, EE. UU., donde asistió a la escuela secundaria Harrison High School, fue elegida reina del baile y la “más guapa”, graduándose en 1984. Daisy Fuentes is a Cuban-American Model born November 17, 1966, television host, actress and former weather presenter. Fuentes became MTV’s first Latina VJ (signed to MTV and MTV Latin America simultaneously) and Revlon’s first Latina spokesperson to be signed to a worldwide contract.

Daisy Fuentes was born in Havana, Cuba, to a Cuban father and Spanish mother. In 1969, when Fuentes was three years old, her family fled the country to escape Fidel Castro’s regime and moved to Madrid, Spain.

Four years later, she moved with her family to Harrison, New Jersey, US, where she attended Harrison High School, was voted homecoming queen and “best looking”, and graduated in 1984. “SAN NICOLAS DEL PELADERO”, POPULAR PROGRAMA HUMORÍSTICO, SATÍRICO, CÓMICO DE LA TV CUBANA. VIDEOS / PHOTOS.

Fue un popular programa humorístico cubano de corte satírico, con excelente factura, de los años 60 y 70, que ponía al descubierto las falsedades de la sociedad cubana y estampas de la vida política nacional.

Este programa se derivó de otro anterior, escrito por el propio productor Carballido Rey que se llamaba Ritmos de Cuba, esencialmente musical, pero donde aparecieron los primeros sketchs del Peladero y que fueron muy del agrado del público, por lo que el escritor decidió modificar la estructura del programa y su contenido para llevarlo a otro formato, que aparecería ya con su nuevo nombre. Se mantuvo en la preferencia del público por espacio de veinte años: su última transmisión tuvo lugar el 26 de diciembre de 1983.

Alcaldesa Remigia: María de los Ángeles Santana, personaje de mujer elegante, con ínfulas de grandeza.
Montelongo Cañón: (Agustín Campos), viejo camaján del Partido Conservador
Cheo Malanga: (Enrique Arredondo), guardaespalda del Alcalde
Eufrates del Valle: (Germán Pinelli), nombre eufemístico para encubrir su función de defensa de los intereses del alcalde, connotado cronista social y dueño del periódico El Imparcial.
Ñico Rutina: (Carlos Moctezuma), ahijado de la alcaldesa Remigia. Sempiterno bufón del alcalde
Sargento Arencibia: (Mario Limonta), el guardia rural cómplice de Plutarco, con su uniforme militar, su voz gangosa, su tabaco y su actitud bravucona.
Mayordono Agamenón: (Frank Almeida), fiel servidor de la Alcaldesa
Simplicio: Carlos Más, escuálido, encorvado, con una voz que era un hilito, metido siempre en la fonda La flor del Asia buscando algo de comer y acompañado de una novia con similares características.

It was a popular humorous Cuban satirical program, with an excellent bill, from the 60’s and 70’s, which exposed the falsehoods of the Cuban society and national political life.

This program was derived from an earlier one, written by the own producer Carballido Rey that was called Rhythms of Cuba, essentially musical, but where they appeared the first sketches of the Peladero and that were very pleasing to the public, reason why the writer decided to modify the Structure of the program and its content to take it to another format, which would already appear under its new name. It remained in the preference of the public by space of twenty years: its last transmission took place the 26 of December of 1983.
