The Cuban boxer Yuriorkis Gamboa who returned to Cuba after having fled in 2006 of the Cuban delegation attending a training camp in Venezuela said he would love to fight again on the island even free.
“The fact that the day the opportunity to fight (professionally) before this audience is free although this would be the first to raise my hand,” Gamboa wrote on his Facebook page.
“I see so much desire to win in the eyes of each and every one of the Wranglers Cuba,” he said. “Boxing in Cuba continues to cause the same passion as always” Cubans participating in the semi-professional tournament of the World Series of Boxing said relationship.

El boxeador cubano Yuriorkis Gamboa quien regresó a Cuba después de haberse fugado en 2006 de la delegación cubana que participaba en un campamento de entrenamiento en Venezuela dijo que le encantaría volver a pelear en la isla aunque sea gratis.
“La verdad que el día que se presente la oportunidad de pelear (profesionalmente) ante este público aunque sea de gratis sería el primero en levantar mi mano”, escribió Gamboa en su página de Facebook.
“Veo muchísimo deseo de triunfo en los ojos de todos y cada uno de los Domadores de Cuba”, afirmó. “El boxeo en Cuba sigue causando la misma pasión de siempre” dijo en relación a los cubanos que participan en el torneo semiprofesional de la Serie Mundial de Boxeo.
“Cuba duele muy profundo. Estar aquí me ha ayudado mucho. Regreso pronto y con las baterías más cargadas que nunca” dijo en relación a su posible regreso al cuadrilátero aunque aún no tiene rival para competir.
Gamboa se suma así a la lista de deportistas cubanos que abandonaron Cuba y ahora regresan de visita a la isla.
