MOSCU- Rusia llamó hoy a Cuba a contrarrestar juntos las “acciones ilegales de Occidente”, una tarea común para Moscú y La Habana, según dijo el viceministro de Exteriores ruso Serguéi Riabkov.
“Vemos nuestra tarea común en seguir trabajando en mecanismos de cooperación que permitan contrarrestar al máximo las acciones ilegales de Occidente”, dijo Riabkov, citado por la agencia TASS, al intervenir en la Universidad Estatal de Moscú.
El número dos de la diplomacia rusa enfatizó que Cuba es un socio estratégico clave y un aliado de Rusia en la región de América Latina.

“Moscú y La Habana están unidos en la necesidad de crear un orden mundial más justo y multipolar basado en el respeto mutuo, la igualdad, el rechazo a las sanciones y la elección de la propia vía de desarrollo”, añadió.

El viceministro señaló que Rusia valora altamente la comprensión de La Habana de las razones de la operación militar especial en Ucrania y su solidaridad con Moscú en foros multilaterales en medio de la guerra híbrida desatada por Occidente, cuyo objetivo es contener a Rusia y alimentar la rusofobia en el mundo.
Asimismo abogó por el fin incondicional del bloqueo comercial, económico y financiero impuesto a la isla por Estados Unidos.
“Insistimos en eliminar a Cuba de la odiosa lista estadounidense de estados patrocinadores del terrorismo”, aseveró.
Según medios, Estados Unidos instruyó a sus diplomáticos a convencer a otros países a votar contra la resolución anual de la Asamblea General de la ONU que exige el fin de bloqueo a Cuba con el argumento de que La Habana apoya a Moscú en la guerra de Ucrania dada la presencia de entre 1.000 y 5.000 cubanos en el frente del lado ruso.

MOSCOW—Russia today called on Cuba to jointly counter the “illegal actions of the West,” a common task for Moscow and Havana, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
“We see our common task in continuing to work on cooperation mechanisms that will allow us to counter the illegal actions of the West as much as possible,” Ryabkov said, quoted by TASS, during a speech at Moscow State University.
The second-in-command in Russian diplomacy emphasized that Cuba is a key strategic partner and ally of Russia in Latin America.

“Moscow and Havana are united in the need to create a more just and multipolar world order based on mutual respect, equality, the rejection of sanctions, and choosing one’s own path of development,” he added.
Sergei Ryabkov praised Havana’s position on the special military operation in Ukraine.
The deputy minister noted that Russia highly values Havana’s understanding of the reasons for the special military operation in Ukraine and its solidarity with Moscow in multilateral forums amid the hybrid war unleashed by the West, which aims to contain Russia and fuel Russophobia worldwide.
He also advocated for the unconditional end of the US trade, economic, and financial blockade imposed on the island.
“We insist on removing Cuba from the odious US list of state sponsors of terrorism,” he asserted.
According to media reports, the United States instructed its diplomats to convince other countries to vote against the annual UN General Assembly resolution demanding an end to the embargo on Cuba, arguing that Havana supports Moscow in the war in Ukraine given the presence of between 1,000 and 5,000 Cubans on the Russian front.
