Cameron Díaz, con una carrera cinematográfica que abarca más de 40 películas, nació en San Diego, California, el 30 de agosto de 1972, y se inició en el mundo del modelaje cuando apenas era una adolescente, trabajando para importantes compañías. Su progenitor era capataz en una empresa petrolífera, y falleció de neumonía y su madre, Billie, trabajó como agente de exportaciones y ahora Cameron está casada con el músico Benji Madden, con quien tuvo un hija mediante vientre subrogado, a la que llamó Raddix.
