Andrés Arturo García Menéndez nació el 12 de abril de 1956, es un actor, director y productor cubano-estadounidense. Saltó a la fama por primera vez actuando en Los intocables (1987) de Brian De Palma junto a Kevin Costner, Sean Connery y Robert De Niro.

Continuó actuando en películas como Stand and Deliver (1988) y Asuntos internos (1990). Luego coprotagonizó El padrino III (1990) de Francis Ford Coppola como Vincent Mancini, por la que fue nominado al Oscar al Mejor actor de reparto.
