William Gutiérrez-Levy es un brillante actor y ex modelo cubanoamericano nacido en Cojimar, Cuba.
Levy es de ascendencia española, su bisabuelo es de las Islas Canarias. Su abuelo materno era judío (de ahí su apellido, Levy), aunque creció en un hogar no religioso.
El año pasado, tras el éxito de Levy (Star, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) protagonizando Montecristo de ViX el año pasado, el servicio de streaming TelevisaUnivision ha firmado un contrato de producción con Secuoya Studios y William Levy Entertainment.
Juntas, las empresas desarrollarán dos nuevos proyectos: la serie Arcadia (en directo) y la película Bajo Un Volcán (en directo), ambas protagonizadas por Levy, que también será productor ejecutivo.
NUEVA PRODUCCIÓN “ARCADIA”
Arcadia (en directo) cuenta la historia de Pablo (Levy), un hombre que huye debido a un corazón roto y un pasado violento. Bajo una identidad falsa, comienza una nueva vida con su hijo en Arcadia, un idílico pueblo de las Islas Canarias. Bajo un volcán (w/t), sigue un amor prohibido e inoportuno que ocurre en medio de una catástrofe natural. Ambos proyectos comenzarán a producirse a finales de año.
“Estoy encantado de volver a colaborar con Secuoya y ViX en dos proyectos excepcionales que creo que a nuestro público le encantarán tanto como a mí. No puedo esperar a volver a España para comenzar la producción”, comparte Levy en una declaración a Deadline.

Levy comenzó su carrera en el mercado de habla hispana, donde rápidamente se catapultó a uno de los talentos más cotizados, donde permanece hasta el día de hoy. Amplió su alcance con el público estadounidense en la década de 2000 con papeles en The Single Moms Club de Tyler Perry, Girls Trip junto a Queen Latifah y Jada Pinkett-Smith, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter y, más notablemente, en la pantalla chica como actor regular en Star de Lee Daniels de Fox.

William Gutiérrez-Levy is a brilliant Cuban-American actor and former model born in in Cojimar, Cuba.
Levy is of Spanish descent, his great-grandfather being from the Canary Islands. His maternal grandfather was Jewish (the origin of his surname, Levy), although he grew up in a non-religious household.
Last year following Levy‘s (Star, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) success starring in ViX‘s Montecristo last year, the TelevisaUnivision streamer has signed Secuoya Studios and William Levy Entertainment to a production deal.
Together, the companies will develop two new projects – the series, Arcadia (w/t) and the film, Bajo Un Volcán (w/t) – both starring Levy, who will also executive produce.
NEW PRODUCTION “ARCADIA”
Arcadia (w/t) tells the story of Pablo (Levy), a man who flees due to a broken heart and a violent past. Under a false identity, he starts a new life with his son in Arcadia, an idyllic town in the Canary Islands. Bajo Un Volcán (w/t), follows an ill-timed and forbidden love happening amid a natural catastrophe. Both projects are set to start production later in the year.

Levy began his career in the Spanish-language market where he quickly catapulted to one of the most sought-after talents where he remains today. He expanded his reach with U.S. audiences in the 2000s with roles in Tyler Perry’s The Single Moms Club, Girls Trip opposite Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and most notably on the small screen as a regular in Lee Daniels’ Star from Fox.
