Descubren a un presunto polizón que llegó en el tren de carga de un avión a Miami. El hombre, del que no ha trascendido su identidad, arribó en el vuelo 1182 de American Airlines procedente de Guatemala.
NO HA TRANSCENDIDO la nacionalidad del joven que viajaba de polizón en el tren de aterrizaje de un avión de American Airlines que llegó este sábado a Miami.
Funcionarios del Aeropuerto Internacional de Miami, Florida, descubrieron este sábado a un hombre que se presume llegó escondido en el tren de carga de un avión procedente de Guatemala, informan medios locales.
Un video tomado por un funcionario del aeródromo, y recogido por el canal de Miami Telemundo 51, muestra al joven que tras bajar de uno de los compartimentos del avión, un Boeing 737, se tambalea y se sienta en la pista de aterrizaje con el rostro desencajado, ante la mirada de los trabajadores.
El hombre, del que no ha trascendido su identidad, arribó en el vuelo 1182 de American Airlines procedente del aeropuerto Internacional La Aurora de Ciudad de Guatemala, que partió a las 7:18 de la mañana, hora del este de EE UU (12:18 GMT), y llegó poco después de las 10 de la mañana al aeropuerto de Miami, es decir poco más de dos horas y media después.
La aerolínea dijo que está colaborando con las autoridades para esclarecer cómo llegó el hombre.
SEGUNDO POLIZÓN LLEGADO A MIAMI
Este no es el primer caso de un polizón que llega a la terminal de Miami. En agosto de 2019, el cubano Yunier García Duarte arribó en el compartimento de equipaje de un avión chárter operado por la aerolínea Swift que salió desde el Aeropuerto Internacional José Martí, en La Habana.
El hombre, padre de una niña, trabajaba cargando maletas en el aeropuerto de la capital cubana y decidió hacer la travesía, que duró unos 45 minutos, cuando vio una oportunidad de esconderse en la zona de carga y huir de la Isla, según dijo entonces a los medios.
Tras permanecer en el Centro de Detención Krome, en el sur de Florida y donde se mantiene a inmigrantes indocumentados detenidos por las autoridades federales, García salió en libertad luego de obtener luz verde para iniciar su solicitud de asilo político.

Officials at the Miami International Airport, Florida, discovered this Saturday a man who is presumed to have arrived hidden in the cargo train of a plane from Guatemala, local media report.
A video was taken by an airfield official and picked up by the Miami channel Telemundo 51, shows the young man who after getting out of one of the compartments of the plane, a Boeing 737, staggers and sits on the runway with his face disengaged, before the eyes of the workers.
The man, whose identity has not been disclosed, arrived on American Airlines flight 1182 from Guatemala City’s La Aurora International Airport, which departed at 7:18 a.m., US Eastern time (12: 18 GMT), and arrived shortly after 10 in the morning at Miami airport, that is to say just over two and a half hours later.
The airline said it is collaborating with authorities to clarify how the man arrived.
SECOND STOWAWAY THAT ARRIVED IN MIAMI
This is not the first case of a stowaway arriving at the Miami terminal. In August 2019, Cuban Yunier García Duarte arrived in the luggage compartment of a charter plane operated by Swift airline that departed from José Martí International Airport in Havana.
The man, the father of a girl, worked loading suitcases at the airport in the Cuban capital and decided to make the journey, which lasted about 45 minutes when he saw an opportunity to hide in the cargo area and flee the island, he said then to the media.
After staying in the Krome Detention Center in South Florida and where undocumented immigrants are being detained by federal authorities, Garcia was released after obtaining the green light to initiate his application for political asylum.
