Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado es una cantante y compositora Cubano Americana. Ex miembro del grupo de chicas Fifth Harmony. Jauregui comenzó a experimentar con diferentes sonidos y a explorar la composición de canciones en solitario, colaborando en canciones con Marian Hill, Steve Aoki y Halsey.
LAUREN COMENZÓ a trabajar en música en solitario en mayo del 2018 y lanzó su canción debut como solista “Expectations” en octubre del 2018 bajo Columbia Records. En enero de 2019, lanzó la canción “More Than That”. Jauregui contribuyó con “Invisible Chains” a la banda sonora de la película Birds of Prey (2020) y lanzó la canción urbana latina producida por Tainy “Lento” en marzo de 2020. En abril de 2020, lanzó la canción “50ft”.
La artista prepara también una gira de conciertos por varias ciudades de Estados Unidos. Lauren Jauregui lanza al mercado sus más recientes temas.

NUEVAS PRODUCCIONES MUSICALES
Lauren Jauregui anunció hace algunas semanas el lanzamiento al mercado de sus últimos temas musicales como parte de su primer trabajo de estudio en solitario Extended Play (EP), “Prelude”.
La artista dio una entrevista a Cosmopolitan donde relató sus más recientes experiencias y planes futuros. “Todavía estoy en el proceso creativo, para ser honesta, pero va bien. Ha sido interesante descubrir cómo incorporar el yo actual con un poco del yo pasado para que la gente pueda seguir percibiendo un ambiente y escuchar canciones que les gustan de otras iteraciones de mí misma”, confirmó la cantante.
Llevada por sus raíces la artista señaló que piensa explorar la naturaleza y fuerza del spanglish. “Es parte de mi energía como persona, así que se ha introducido de forma natural en mi arte. Me siento inspirada por contemporáneos como Kali y Jessie Reyez que están haciendo el mismo tipo de trabajo”, aseguró.

La cantante también agradeció a sus fans por el apoyo y la paciencia, pues desde 2018 no proponía nuevas canciones. “El hecho de que ustedes resuenen con lo que estoy haciendo es lo más valioso que podría pasar”, añadió.
En los días que antecedieron al 15N Jauregui manifestó su apoyo a los cubanos y dijo que Cuba es muy importante para ella. “Es de donde yo vengo, de donde mis abuelos vienen y quiero que tengan su libertad”, afirmó.
Esta no es la primera vez que la cantante se posiciona en cuestiones políticas. En 2018 participó de varias campañas para que los jóvenes participaran en las elecciones presidenciales de Estados Unidos. “Tienen que entender que ejercer su voto es ‘cool’, que es una locura dejar que los abuelos y los padres decidan cómo va a ser nuestro futuro”, manifestó Lauren en aquella ocasión.
En 2017, cuando todavía era miembro de Fifth Harmony junto a la también cubana Camila Cabello, se opuso desde las redes sociales a la orden ejecutiva de Donald Trump que impedía la entrada de refugiados musulmanes a Estados Unidos.
VIDA PERSONAL
Jauregui tiene principalmente ascendencia cubana y española. El mayor de tres hermanos, Jáuregui asistió a una escuela católica mixta desde preescolar hasta sexto grado. Luego asistió a la Escuela Carrollton del Sagrado Corazón, una escuela preparatoria universitaria católica para niñas en Miami, con una beca académica. Ella estaba en el programa de bachillerato internacional de la escuela, y participó en el show de talentos y el equipo de softbol. A lo largo de sus años escolares, Jáuregui se expresó a través de las artes, mientras disfrutaba “constantemente creando”, cantando, escribiendo, bailando, coreografiando, tocando el piano y pintando.

The artist gave an interview to Cosmopolitan where she recounted her most recent experiences and her future plans. “I’m still in the creative process, to be honest, but it’s going well. It has been interesting to discover how to incorporate the current me with a bit of the past me so that people can continue to perceive an environment and listen to songs that they like from other iterations of myself, ”confirmed the singer.
Driven by her roots, the artist pointed out that she intends to explore the nature and strength of Spanglish. “It is part of my energy as a person, so it has naturally entered my art. I am inspired by contemporaries like Kali and Jessie Reyez who are doing the same kind of work, ”she assured.
The singer also thanked her fans for her support and patience, since she had not proposed new songs since 2018. “The fact that you resonate with what I’m doing is the most valuable thing that could happen,” she added.

PERSONAL LIFE
Jauregui is primarily of Cuban and Spanish descent. The oldest of three siblings, Jáuregui attended a coeducational Catholic school from preschool through sixth grade. He then attended Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, a Catholic college preparatory school for girls in Miami, on an academic scholarship. She was in the school’s international baccalaureate program and participated in the talent show and softball team. Throughout her school years, Jáuregui expressed herself through the arts, as she enjoyed “constantly creating,” singing, writing, dancing, choreographing, playing the piano, and painting.
