MENSAJE DEL GOBIERNO DE ESTADOS UNIDOS AL PUEBLO DE CUBA EN EL DIA DE SU INDEPENDENCIA
Hoy reconocemos la fuerza y diversidad del pueblo cubano y sus múltiples contribuciones al mundo.
Celebramos los fuertes lazos entre nuestros dos pueblos, así como la diversidad de antecedentes e ideas de artistas, empresarios, líderes religiosos, defensores de los derechos humanos y defensores de la igualdad, periodistas y ambientalistas cubanos, solo algunas de las muchas personas en Cuba con una voz fuerte y un deseo de ser escuchado.
Estados Unidos está a su lado y busca apoyarlos en su búsqueda de la libertad, la prosperidad y un futuro de mayor dignidad.
Reconocemos los desafíos que muchos de ustedes enfrentan en su vida diaria. Reconocemos sus importantes contribuciones a la conversación global y buscamos escuchar y amplificar sus voces para aprovechar las oportunidades y abordar los desafíos.
Estados Unidos se compromete nuevamente a acompañar al pueblo cubano en su búsqueda para determinar su propio futuro. The United States stands by your side and seeks to support you in your quest for freedom, prosperity, and a future of greater dignity.
We recognize the challenges that many of you face in your daily life. We recognize your important contributions to the global conversation and seek to hear and amplify your voices to seize opportunities and address challenges.
The United States pledges once again to accompany the Cuban people in their quest to determine their own future.
