Yanilen Diaz Reinaldo nació un 30 de Abril de 1989 en Venegas, Sancti Spiritus, Cuba y es una Cantante, bailarina y Actriz destacada en su pais y en el extranjero donde reside actualmente entre Mexico y Estados Unidos.

Yanilen estudió cuatro años para profesora de arte y danza, aunque nunca dejó de lado sus dos grandes pasiones: el canto y el baile.

En abril del año 2011 llegó a Oaxaca, México; en un intercambio cultural con su grupo de baile, Danza Cuba.

Su vida no ha sido fácil y la isla es solo una prueba en tu vida que está dispuesta a superar. Yanilen tuvo que dejar a su familia en Cuba para lograr y construir su mayor sueño, para ser un gran cantante.

Para hacer esto, tuvo que sacrificarse y trabajar todos los días para lograr su propósito. Yanilen estudió cuatro años como profesor de arte, pero nunca dejó de lado sus dos grandes pasiones: cantar y bailar.

Ese mismo año en julio, se presentó en el casting para La Academia 2011 y fue una de las seleccionadas. Su paso por el reality estuvo lleno de emociones y aprendizaje. Gracias a su talento, belleza, perseverancia, disciplina y carisma, fue una de las finalistas.

En julio del 2012 se integró al reality «La Isla» primera temporada del programa con 18 participantes. Salió al aire en agosto de ese mismo año. Demostró ser una guerrera con mucha fuerza mental y física. Llegó a la Etapa de Fusión. En uno de los juegos sufrió lesiones en sus tobillos, por lo que no tuvo más remedio que abandonar el programa, siendo la 12 desterrada en el capítulo 48.

En 2013 participó en la obra «Que Rico Mambo». Cantando el tema «De México a la Habana» y bailando el tema «Afro.

En el 2014 formó parte del elenco de la telenovela «Siempre tuya Acapulco» que estuvo al aire del 10 de febrero al 17 de agosto. Su personaje se llamó «Martita», siendo esta su primera oportunidad en la actuación, logro un gran trabajo, mereciendo credibilidad como actriz.

En 2015 fue concursante en el programa «Baila si Puedes» de TV Azteca. Su participación fue destacable; mostrando el gran talento que tiene para bailar. Fue finalista y ganó el 2do lugar.

Yanilen, un niño, siempre quiso ser bailarín y una prueba de ello fue su gran talento innato en la Academia, donde dejó sudor, lágrimas y fuerza en cada concierto.

Le encanta la música de Jennifer Lopez, Madonna y Thalia, y ella, al ingresar a la Academia, fue un gran regalo para tu vida.
