Alexis Valdés is a Cuban actor, comedian, monologist, film producer, singer and screenwriter.
He was born in Havana, Cuba, on August 16, 1963. He has a degree in Cinematographic Direction from the Faculty of Cinema of the Higher Institute of Art of La Haban.
In Cuba, he became famous in a show where he played the character of Bandurria. In 2005, he was an actor, director and producer of his first film, A King in Havana.
He resides on the island until 1990 after years of having achieved success as an actor and comedian and having secured Cristinito as his star character. Of his work in Cuba he has, among others, a “Prize for the best performance” and “Grand prize of popularity” (International Monologue Festival, Havana, 1989, 1992). His performances in Savadazo are part of the best of the Cuban television magazines.
After receiving a degree in engineering and work in the stage in Cuba for 10 years, he went to Spain in the 1990s, where he became very popular due to his performances in programs such as The Comedy Club.
Since the beginning of July 2007, “Surely” took a break. Since the beginning of 2008, his show was transferred form América TeVe to Mega TV Channel 22 and later renamed Esta Noche Tu Night. On December 14, 2011, he released his second album, ‘Con Cariñito’ (with love).
He currently resides in Miami, where he is the star of different programs on national television.
He was married to Paulina Gálvez in 2007, they divorced in 2009. Actually is married to the actress Claudia Valdes.

Nació en La Habana, Cuba, el 16 de agosto, 1963. Es graduado en Dirección Cinematográfica por la Facultad de Cine del Instituto Superior de Arte de la Haban
En Cuba, se hizo famoso en un espectáculo donde interpretó el personaje de Bandurria. En 2005, fue actor, director y productor de su primera película, Un rey en La Habana.
Reside en la Isla hasta el año 1990 tras años de haber cosechado éxitos como actor y humorista y de haber afianzado Cristinito como su personaje estrella. De su trabajo en Cuba le quedan, entre otros, un “Premio a la mejor actuación” y “Gran premio de la popularidad” (Festival Internacional del Monólogo, La Habana, 1989, 1992). Sus actuaciones en Savadazo forman parte de lo mejor de los magacines televisivos cubanos.
Después de recibir un título de ingeniería y de trabajo en la etapa en Cuba desde hace 10 años, se fue a España en la década de 1990, donde se convirtió en muy popular debido a sus actuaciones en programas como El Club De La Comedia.
Desde principios de julio de 2007, “Seguro que sí” se tomó un descanso. Desde principios de 2008, su show fue trasladado formulario América TeVe a Mega TV Canal 22 y más tarde rebautizado Esta Noche Tu Night. El 14 de diciembre de 2011, lanzó su segundo disco, ‘Con Cariñito’ (con cariño).
