ALFREDO DESPAIGNE regresa a Cuba todavía con problemas en la Liga Mexicana

El pelotero cubano Alfredo Despaigne dijo este lunes en La Habana que no tiene ninguna responsabilidad en la acusación que se le imputa por el uso de un pasaporte falso en la Liga Mexicana de Béisbol, informó la emisora oficial Radio Habana Cuba.
La Liga Mexicana separó de sus filas de manera indefinida a Despaigne, para aclarar el caso que vincula al pelotero cubano con el uso de un pasaporte dominicano falso para su inscripción oficial.
“Estoy de regreso en Cuba y estaré un tiempo en mi casa con mi familia, a la espera de que se aclare en México lo del uso del pasaporte falso”, dijo Despaigne en la terminal aérea José Martí.
“Ni la Federación Cubana ni yo tenemos nada que ver” con el uso de documentos falsificados, añadió el deportista, que fue recibido en la terminal aérea José Martí por el presidente de la FCB, Higinio Vélez, y el director de relaciones internacionales del Instituto de Deportes (Inder), Pedro Cabrera.
Despaigne, que tenía un excelente rendimiento al momento del suceso, afirmó que el problema lo “está resolviendo la Liga Mexicana” y dijo que espera que “se le dé respuesta rápido, para estar de nuevo por allá si se resuelve todo”.
Despaigne dijo estar tranquilo en relación con tema y destacó el apoyo recibido en todo momento por las autoridades del deporte cubano.
“No me preocupa que salga dañada mi imagen, porque no tengo nada que ver con eso”, destacó.
