El pelotero Raicel Iglesias abandonó el país por mar, hace siete días, y se encuentra en un tercer país, según supo DIARIO DE CUBA a través de dos fuentes.
Las autoridades gubernamentales deportivas lo habían suspendido un año, tras el fracaso de su primera fuga.
El lanzador escapó el miércoles pasado, según dijeron sus familiares al periodista independiente Lázaro Ricardo Pérez.
Una fuente en el exterior, vinculada al béisbol profesional, también confirmó la fuga.
El pitcher pinero intentó escapar el 21 de septiembre, por la zona de Punta de Piedra, pero la operación fracasó. Estuvo escondido en el monte varios días y se vio obligado a salir por falta de agua y comida.
La noticia de su supuesta huida de septiembre se divulgó cuando Iglesias aún estaba escondido en el monte, lo que facilitó su detención.
